Viewing Streaming Media on ibook - help!

Hi all,

Listen, I am trying to view some streaming media on my G3 ibook, but to no avail. I have downloaded the Windows Media Player 9 for ibook, but the files will not load (something about a file path). I can load and play smaller files and play them in Qicktime, but I cannot get my Media Player to play the longer movies? Any of you Mac Freaks have any advice for a newbie here?

Files ending in .wmv are for Windows Media Player, while files ending in .mov are for Quicktime. If there's an error about a file path, the movie might have been deleted or moved from the server that you were trying to connect to.
