I just purchased this LCD today. There are absolutely no reviews of it on the internet, but I was willing to be one of the first people to try it out. Other legitimate contenders in this LCD race included the Dell 2005FPW but this monitor was just a little bit cheaper. 399$ at Costco seemed like a really good price to me, a Viewsonic name written on it, and specs that compare well with the 20" ACD and the 2005fpw. It may use a different panel, but do you think I made a wise purchase?

As to that specific monitor I could'nt say. I own the VP201b http://www.viewsonic.com/products/desktopdisplays/lcddisplays/proseries/vp201s/ have so for about two years now. And it rocks. ViewSonic makes great LCD screens, so I would bet you made a good choice.

The only thing I don't like about your purchase is the build-in speakers. But hey, you can always stop using them and bring in another set of speakers.

Do post a review of it when you get it...I'll be in the market for a 20" widescreen LCD in the next 6-9 months, and I'm looking for quality that will last, but at a price cheaper than the Apple Displays.
