Vimeo, Dailymotion, Twitvid etc. don't work as embedded

For example go to http://gizmodo.com/5304230/robot-parkour-ad-by-nike on your ipad, the embedded video won't load even though vimeo supports html5.
You can click on the Vimeo link and it'll load on vimeos site, but problem is many times an embedded video wont be accompanied by a link.

Only embedded youtube shows up regularly. What is the problem with other providers?

Most likely that they support HTML 5 video tags on their site they are still generating Flash for embeds.

Yea they all support HTML5 on their sites, the embeds are the problem. Haven't they updated their embed codes yet? Seems like a simple thing to do considering the effort already done to transcode everything ...
