Virex Problem

Everytime I open virex it adds it self to Startup items!!!!! So everytime I turn on my computer it opens and starts to check the drive. How can I turn this off?

Go into the Virex Preferences and uncheck Automatically scan at login. This should prevent it from appearing in your log in items.

Thanks so much, this has bugged forever. I can't believe i didn't see that before.

sure thing. scan at log in can get rather annoying, too bad that there is no calendar set up allowing for monthly scans or even weekly scans.

Personally, I'd rather have Virex do it's thing at startup rather than take time at shutdown.
