I have a client in need of a Virtual 360 Tour. Has anyone had any experience with these? Do you make them yourself, outsource, etc? They would essentially be static.
We use a firm called Voyager 360. They are based in Santa Fe New Mexico but they have offices and affiliates all over. Depending on what you need (the photographer on site service) or the actual gear to do it yourself, they supply both.
I'm a Hollywood location scout and I have to go shoot 360 tours of possible new locations for new films. We got a lot of the iPIX gear a year ago, then they went bankrupt. Voyager 360 was the only firm that let us keep our old iPIX gear and they sold us new software with no more stupid KEYS or annual renewal fees. PLUS: They gave us the training over the computer and on the phone.
Don't waste your time going to RealTourVision and TourFactory. We did that and they were both hard to work with and wanted to box us into expensive systems that we did not want.
