I've been using it on my Mini as it's free, I've been running XP SP3, I haven't had any problems. Pretty happy with it.

I am missing some functions in Virtual Box. With Parallels i could easily drag and drop between guest and host desktop. Virtual Box makes file sharing more difficult.

But it is free and very easy to install, so just give it a try.

Windows 7 seems to be running fine on it. The only thing I can't figure out is how to get USB sticks to mount.

paralles VB

i use parallels 4 and it works ok but has some problems with video and pix
i dont know if i just dont have something set up right or if its just the program itself

i tried to use VB and i just couldnt get it to work right. i dont know if i did something wrong or got a bad copy or what.

im not one to buy software so some times when you download something for free or that is "hacked" it doesnt always work right and you cant always tell cuz you dont know the diff.

m was using xp on parallels and then i downloaded a very good copy of windows 7, both messed up the video when trying to watch a movie or look
at photos. i dont know why.

is someone can help me use VB better or tell me whats wrong with my
parallels send me an email.

VB is OK, it is good enough to get in and do a few things without really having to lay out any money.

Parallels was my first purchase, it is OK and does a fair job. But as someone else mentioned, lousy video support with corrupted graphics at times and other issues. Their support was horrid. Apple released a patch that broke it, and their only answer was, "Buy another year license." So they do NOT support their older code base. In other words, you HAVE to keep paying them because you only get a ONE YEAR license.

Fusion works great. Yes it doesn't run games well; but for the most part they run. Overall I found it to be much smoother then Parallels and much easier to get around in. I highly recommend it. They keep upgrading the previous versions to work on the latest OS patches / changes free of charge. Major upgrades are given at big discounts but overall, you can still buy it online for $25 to $30 for the full version.
