Virtual Box on Late 2009 Core 2 Duo iMac ?

Hi. I'm just wondering if anyone might have any idea (possibly even experience ) if an imac w/Core 2 Duo processor & 8 gb ram will run Virtual Box 6.0/6.1 well enough to make it worth the effort? I don't expect or need it to be fast rather just not too slow at doing basic computing stuff like internet, email, photos, music, etc.

It's worth trying.

I ran VirtualBox as a Windows 10 guest on a Mac mini server 2010 host up until I recycled that Mac a couple of years ago.
