Help!. I just installed virtual pc and it seems pretty good.. just it made my computer a little funny.. normall the dock automatically goes up and down when i move my curson to the bottom of the screen, now i need to click for it to come up and click for it to go down.. Now in mozilla, i coudlnt even get to the mac rumors website because once i typed it in, it kept going back from the the macrumors website and my homepage, google.. why is this happening?

Also, in virtual pc, is there any way i can retrieve stuff that i downloaded in windows, so i can view or listen to it in osx??
Last problem is, i cant change any of the settings, once i go to the settings box, the selection wont stay on the tab i want, it just keeps going back to the first.

If you're running Windows 2000 or XP, you can install Virtual Machine Additions (in the menu: PC->Install or Update Additions). This installs software with in Windows on the virtual machine that allows you to drag and drop files between your OS X environment and Windows (along with seamless mouse transfer and some other things). Also, you can share OS X folders with your Windows machine (look in the PC settings). I'm not sure what's exactly wrong with your dock, but if you have VPC in full screen mode, it will hide the dock and menu bar. If you hold command down, they will reappear. Switching the application focus from VPC will also make them reappear.

I have no idea about your Mozilla question. I doubt it has anything to do with VPC to tell you the truth.

is there any way to do like a system restore on a mac? It all started happening today. I need to click on the bottom of the screen for the dock to show up, and it does not do the zoom thing when i move my mouse to the left and right.

Is it the same across all accounts? If you don't have another administrator account already, create one from the System Preferences and see if the problem is unique to your original account. :)

It seems to me that your dock is set "to hide." This is why you can only see the dock when you click to the bottom of the screen. To turn "hiding off" right click over the separator line in the dock, (it is the line to the left of the trash icon) and select "turn hiding off." There is also an option to turn the icon magnification on as well.

thats not the problem.. i want it to hide, but normally it will pop up when i just move my mouse to the bottom of the screen.. now wghen i move my mouse over any text, like on the toolbar at the top, normally whatever i have my mouse on will turn blue as some way to show thats what your hovering over, now nothing happens...

ok i just made another admin account, and im not having the same problem.. i didnt intall mozilla, but im not having the problem with the dock or anything else.. what can this be??
