VirtualPC 6 w/ 2 hard drives on OS X

If I have 2 hard drives installed on a Power Mac G4 would it make sense to install VirtualPC on the second drive? or just the "guest" image(s) on the second drive (windows xp), or both?

i'm wondering what the best configuration would be from a performance stand point. Thanks!!!
