My iPad Air has had lag with multitouch and opening/closing/switching apps and I thought this was just the ios9 issues being reported. But my iPhone 5 has gone crazy since updating. It keeps re-receiving emails, animations are slow or freeze, apps hang or crash. Is this also part of the ios9 issues or could it be a virus?

Could be your phone carrier also. Has happened that they have sent out multiple messages etc.

Animations. Well. What has changed = installed IOS 9 = In all likelihood it's the bug filled update. If you want to keep iOS 9 then do a hard reset on the device and if that does not solve it reinstall to check if it will solve your problem.

Otherwise downgrade to iOS 8.4.1 to check if that is better.

Now it's just deleted All my apps overnight too. How can this not be a virus?
