Visiting from Australia

I have a friend visiting from Australia and she would like to bring and use her iPhone for the 2 weeks she will be here. Would she be able to buy a sim at an Apple or AT&T store for that 2 week period?

It is an unlocked phone so could she get a sim from Verizon and would it work here?

How would the process work?

She can get a T-mobile pre paid I suppose.

Yep she can use any prepaid card as her iphone is already unlocked.

Just a note. You can use a T-Mobile sim, however, even if the simcard is 3G, the iPhone will only support 3G on TMobile's network because of the bands.
