I was wondering what edition of Vista 64 people are running..?? I am about to buy a version in the next few days for my MBP, but can only find the Ultimate 64 bit version of Vista at newegg. I am planning on running it under bootcamp while doing heavy rendering and then parrallels for AutoCAD. Any suggestions would help. Thanks...

Heavy rendering? Go 64-bit Vista Ultimate, and make sure you have at least a good 50GB partition for it. 32GB partition with 32-bit Windows gave me only 10GB of remaining HD space after updates and SP1.

I can only find the OEM version of Vista 64 bit Ultimate. Is this the version I should get or is there a retail version that would let me install on more than one computer?

I use 3ds (3d studio max) for my architectural renderings/animations. Too bad I can't just install that on the Mac, but Autodesk won't get away from Windows.

Can you enlarge a partition size later on, if I need more space..?? Thanks again for your advice...

You can...
There are programs like Partition Magic that I used back in the day. Windows might be able to do it from within the Administrator Tools now.

Just be warned that if it doesn't go right, it can completely destroy everything on the computer, and you're left with nothing. No, it's not likely to happen, but don't think you can change the partitions willy-nilly without any risks, or at least a really good backup!

Any version of Vista will work just fine. I've been using home/premium, or whatever it is called, and ultimate on 2 computers and I don't see any difference.

I'd get OEM if you can. It's the exact same software* just without the packaging and much cheaper.

I use Ultimate but the Home Premium is a good version too.

*There are some licensing restrictions on the OEM version which means you are only supposed to install it on one PC... but well...

EDIT: You can enlarge the partition, but it's tricky because you have to work on the Mac and Windows partitions separately. I wouldn't recommend it unless you are very experienced and have a full backup.
