Anyone know a way to get VISTA64 bit running on a 2007 Imac 24 inch 4 gigs of ram with ATI2600 card?

Im instersted in gaming only, Warhammer actually but im hearing do not go with XP as it limits the RAM and slows down the game.

I hear there are some unofficial ways to do this, but is it work it in the end?

Xp uses less resources but does not use all your memory. Vista takes more resources and lets you see 4 gigs. Does this become Moot?

If someone can help me out much appreciated. Also where I can find these drivers for 64XP if neeeded?

Well XP 64-bit allows the computer to use all 4GB too, but XP 64-bit is a POS; a lot of stuff not support.

If you're worried about resources being wasted in Vista, just disable all the Aero stuff.

No im wondering if its even supportable on the 2007 IMACS..

IM not looking for XP 64 Vista 64 on IMac 2007 24 4 gigs ram
