Vista Final on Mac Pro

I have been able to do a clean install of Vista RTM x32 from a NTFS formatted SATA disk.
Everything works great, but there are a few small problems.
-NVIDIA RC2 graphics drivers are a little sketchy with GPU intensive processes, (IE: 3D Screensavers, Games etc.)
-Connecting to a wireless network has to be done manually as when you scan, it will not find any networks.
My only tip to other users is to extract the Boot Camp Drivers for XP by running the following in Start > Run:
...Macintosh Drivers For Windows XP.exe /A /v.
I am not sure that is right, but it basically lets you extract the Boot Camp drivers because the installer won't work. Then manually install necessary drivers for the Mac Pro.

No, you cannot use WinRAR to extract the drivers.
If you have any experience with Boot Camp Drivers, you will know that the drivers are embedded in an application, (.exe), not an archive, so WinRAR would be useless.

Not WinRAR, but there's another app that can do it. I can't think of which right now, but think Pacifist for Windows.
Vista64 works quite well. No 3rd party drivers were required for mine.
Though I lack the extras from Bootcamp.

How did you get it to install fresh? I got my copy yesterday for being in the technical beta and whenever I try to install it, the installer tells me it cannot find a partition that meets its requirements.
I have a separate SATA drive I am installing onto. I go into Bootcamp, tell it I want to use that drive for Windows and hen reboot. Go through the Vista installer, select the right partition and get the above error.

i got that on my MacBook Pro until i updated the firmware, that fixed it for me. downloaded the 32-bit from MSDN this morning. i hate not being able to tap, scroll, 2 finger right click, etc, so i removed the BootCamp partition immediately and installed in Parallels instead. I only need Windows for 2 apps for work, so Parallels will do just fine.
