Vista Installation - Eject CD during installation

Hi,
I m new to Mac OS X
I installed Boot Camp and all the firmware.
Created partition and inserted by Windows Vista CD1
CD 1 got completely finished and asked me to insert CD 2.
This is were it got struck, CD 1 never got ejected. I tried pressing Eject Key in my keyboard, but CD never got ejected. I was totally struck up with this step. I have Windows Vista in 5 CD's.

Can anyone tell me as to how to eject a CD during Windows Vista installation?

Or can anyone suggest way to convert these 5 Cd's to a DVD, so that I can have the installation in one disc

You're going to need a USB CD/DVD drive. I didn't think Vista came on CDs either.

Yeah, all boxed copies of Vista come with a DVD, and a coupon for the CD version. You should have a DVD somewhere.

Boot Camp does *NOT* support installing from multiple discs, as there is no way to eject a disc until after you have fully installed Windows. That is why Windows XP Media Center Edition isn't supported.

You can use multiple discs if you have an external USB optical drive around.

USB CD Drive not getting detected during start up

You're going to need a USB CD/DVD drive. I didn't think Vista came on CDs either.

I tried using the external USB CD drive. In Boot Camp, I selected "Start Windows Installation", the the system reboots and hangs. Don't the reason why.

So, i unplugged by USB CD Drive and booted. When OS X started, I m unable to see my partitioned drive. Only option is back to normal mode.
How do I make the OS X look up for starting boot device as an external USB drive, or any other method possible to install with 5 CD's of Vista in Mac OS X

You don't boot from the external drive. You start the installation using the onboard drive and then use the external to swap in the later discs.

I did like as you told. But the Mac OS X still doesn't recognises the external drive for the second disc. It still checks the onboard drive. Any other idea possible?
