I'm converting as a life-long Windows user to a Macbook I just bought today. Is there a step by step guide on how to install Vista onto my Macbook and have all the hardware running smoothly. I need Vista to run Quickbooks Premier 2007.

Welcome to the light, my brother! It's great to have more Windows users coming by (I switched in August 2005)

Are you planning on using virtualization softward like Parallels or VMWare's Fusion?

Or do you want to run it using Boot Camp?

There is a guide for using Boot Camp to run Vista, then Apple has their own guides to help you: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/10.5/en/11889.html

Since you are a long time Windows-user, you may want to check Mac101 on the Apple website as well: http://www.apple.com/support/switch101/

thanks guys, found the windows drivers on the discs that came with the computer, they thought of everything...
