Hello everyone,

So here at college lots of people play counterstrike, age of empires, and many other games that you just can't get for mac. I want to install Windows vista onto my computer, but before doing so, I want to know if anything bad will come out of this. I've heard that installing windows vista messes up OSX, such as the time being screwed up, and applications not working.

Also, one of my friends tried to install Vista on his computer, and for some reason while he is in windows vista it won't allow him to connect to the internet.

So, any ideas?

Cheers.

Your friend needs to install the drivers.

Installing vista will not wreck anything. Bootcamp makes a seperate partition that cannot even interfere with OSX

Thanks,

And NT1440, how would my friend go about installing these drivers? I'm assuming he has to use the apple disc that came with his computer?

Yup, the drivers you need are on the disc, then just google up "install windows bootcamp drivers".

Have fun with your mac, i wish I had one:(

All in good time tho.
