Vista's Internet is super slow! HELP!

Well, since I got my mac I always wanted vista on it too so when I got it yesterday I was really excited. I installed it on my mac and installed all the mac drivers on it and I connected to internet but it is amazingly slow. It takes about 30 minutes to load myspace's home page. Can someone please tell me how to fix this problem. I am not very good with these kind of things so please try to make it easy. Thank you!

I am in the same situation..

Currently downloading the Boot Camp Update 2.1 for Vista 64 (via OS X) to see if that clears up the issue.

If it works I'll post back here. It's annoying because Vista runs amazingly well, yet the Wi-Fi speed is unusable.

FYI: I'm running an Apple Time Capsule and I'm about 6ft away

I have 32-bit Vista installed on my MBP, and it runs very well. I only really use it for the Netflix Watch Instantly feature (though the kids run games on it), and it streams the video wirelessly from my AEBS very nicely (and I'm upstairs 20-30 feet away from the router).
Did you definitely install the Bootcamp drivers?
If you're running XP SP3 or Vista SP1 you will need Bootcamp 2.1.

As others have said, try installing BootCamp 2.1.

Also, it would help to know what hardware you are using and what type of Internet connection you have, as well as what version of Vista you are running.

EDIT: I have the solution

Boot in to OS X.. download an application called 7zip, save it to a USB stick / Burn to CD

Boot in to Vista.. install 7zip.

Run 7zip.. open up the "Drivers" folder from the Leopard DVD.. find the broadcom files and extract them to the desktop (using 7zip).

Go in to the Device Manager and manually update the broadcom network card.. but choose the location of those files you just extracted (i.e. the desktop)

Let Vista install the drivers (takes about 10 seconds)

Enjoy normal internet speeds over wireless (you may have to restart for the changes to take affect).
