Visual Settings / List Customization?

In the more recent demo for the iPhone on Apple.com, we got a look at the extensive Settings.app, and I was wondering if any thought there would be advanced customization for the standard "list view" that we've consistent throughout the phone, such as contacts, artists, e-mails, voicemails, etc..etc..etc.. we see it repeatedly. Any chance of being able to change the appearance of this menu?

It seems likely as much of the phone is customizable. I'm hoping to be able to change colors, layout style, and even opacity! Imagine a transparent menu?

Interesting. But I doubt it. Maybe general color changes like in osx, but transparencies are probably a long shot. Once this thing gets hacked to pieces, we might see some different skinning options.

the phone does seem customizable, but i dont think to the extent that you are talking about. it would be cool, but i did not see anything that would refer to such capabilities, but we wont really know until next friday
