Has anyone had their Iphone screen turn off while "only" on voicemail? Every time I go into visual voicemail or dial 1 to access voicemail, my iphone screen turns off. The phone is still on, but the display turns off unexpectedly, and the slightest movement sometimes turn it back on, but it institanously turns off again.

Anyone have the same problem?

Just on voice mail? Do you have a cover on it? If so, take it off. I could only think the proximity sensor is going off.

I would, but it seems to work on everything else without a problem. Is there a way to turn the proximity off?

So if you place a phone call, the screen does not dim if you dont hold it up to your ear?

The proximity sensor can not be turned off.

Its designed to deactivate the display ONLY during calls when you place it next to your head (or anything really).
