visual voicemail

right i have jailbroken my uk iphone, all working fine back on 1.1.2, got a problem with visual voicemail though, when i click on it it highlights it at the bottom but does not do anything! i am using the actual contract sim i got in the iphone and signed up for through ituness, anyone else having this problem, my mate in work who has an uk iphone contract has the same problem, any ideas people?:confused::confused:
 
I have a similar problem. Mine actually dials my voicemail instead of coming up with the visual voicemail screen. Its really annoying and I'm going to take it to the apple store next time I'm down there.

When this exact thing happened to me last week, I called AT&T due to it being "their" service/issue.

I was told that their "visual voicemail server" was down, and that it would be back up in 24 hours or less. However, you may want to call AT&T and verify that VVM is "provisioned" correctly on your account. Sometimes as I was told by AT&T, the setting can somehow "vaporize" from your account.
 
is there a solution to this yet? My 1.1.2 jailbroken o2 uk iPhone does the same thing. I tap the button but it doesn't swap to the voicemail screen.
 
idk about O2, but I fixed mine by using ATT's online chat. The guy figured out what happened instantly (the visual voicemail feature had gotten removed from my plan) and fixed it.

It happened to me when I jailbroke. Just give it time, it will reask your Visual VoiceMail password after which you should be able to access it again.

This is what happened to me and it works.
