Vivid vs Lunar - which is better?

Thinking of switching from my heavy 2 kg mbp 16 2019 to lighter 1.6 kg mbp 14 latest one. Want the screen to be as bright as my 800 nit iPhone 13 mini on full brightness. I need to see even SDR content at ~ 800 nits but will I lose color accuracy at that brightness level with vivid? Other bugs with vivid? Which app is better? Anyone used both? Thanks.
