 I have a really annoying problem with an avi movie i am trying to watch... A bright green line is slapped diagonally across the screen, splitting the VLC video screen in 2. The green line is part of a triangulart shape which i can't get rid of...

Other movies run fine.. Does anyone know what could be causing it?

The movie i'm trying to watch is "V for Vendetta" and i've been waiting for sooo long to watch it :(

Sounds like the video could be corrupted, try downloading the quicktime DIVX plugin at divx.com, or using MPlayer.

Or renting the DVD.

Thanks dude DivX works beautifully.. even on my Intel mac!

VLC is usually great too, but it seems so buggy sometimes.

Thanks again.
