Hi all,
I've seen quite a few posts asking for guidance regarding VMware Fusion 4 and Parallels Desktop 7. As a big user of virtual environments I have also been wondering which product is best. As a result I ran a number of benchmarks across both platforms and I thought I would share the results:

Overall I found that Fusion outperformed Parallels, but only by the smallest of margins. In fact, I'm not convinced that you could tell any real world differences.
For a full breakdown of the results (Windows Experience Index, Super Pi and PCMark 7) be sure to hit the link above. I would also be happy to run any additional benchmarks upon request.
Hope it helps.
