im currently installing VMWARE Fusion on my macbook pro (17", 2.33gz c2d, 2gb ram)...i am wondering will i get to play my games that i cant play in parallels...?
It currently has DirectX 8 support, with 9 on the way, so it will play quite a few, but not all, of your games...Parallels on the other hand does not support DirectX, which is needed for many (especially more recent) games...

beta 2 is the latest VMware fusion that is available for public release.
Regarding DX, the games listed in their release notes are the ones that are proven to have worked. I tried a few more, some worked and some didn't.
The Direct3D test works, as does 3dmark01.
VMware claim that DX9 is planned for another future release - obviously to run Vista and its aero interface. But for now, with the beta 2, you should be able to play some DX8 games inside OSX without rebooting.
