I'm thinking about buying a new laptop and I'm wondering how the new SR MacBook would compare to the MacBook Pro in running virtual machines? Let's say they were both the 2.2Ghz models and both had 4GB RAM.

What I'm really getting at is how much of an impact does the graphics card (integrated graphics in the case of the MacBook) play in virtualization?

I won't be playing any video games on this machine or doing any pro applications. It will only be for internet/office/terminal/etc and a heavy use of virtualization -- running at least 1 image all the time - possibly 2-3.

Thanks!!

It will run awesome with 4GB on each machine :) RAM is the most important component in the running of VMs...
