Based on advice I received here regarding being able to read write in both directions between OS X and Vista, I plan on making a VMware virtual disk instead of a boot camp partition.

I was planning on running 2 drives Raid 0, 3rd drive Bootcamp/Vista, 4th drive time machine. Where do i install the VMware virtual disk on the raid 0 drives, or a separate drive? Does it make a difference?

Thanks!
Todd

Its just a regular single file, like a zip file, you can move it around and do whatever you want with it and it will still work the same.

Which drive is best for overall system performance, the Raid 0, or a separate drive?

RAID 0 would provide the best performance - how much of an improvement it is in practice I'm not too sure.
