So I downloaded the app and I had to download a companion program for my Mac called chicken of the vnc. It's asking for the iPhone's IP. But the iPhone doesn't have one since it's on the 3G network.

Then I suggest you get connected to some wifi. Seems like common sense to me.

You could always get your 3g IP by going to a site like whatsmyip.org from safari. Although probably won't let you connect anyway due to port. Can always try but best bet is to connect to a wifi or if you comp has built in setup a network that way
