vobs and ATV using external drive

Hi Guys

I have successfully ripped DVD's in VOBS using mactheripper, I have also successfully FTP'd the resulting files to the /movies/dvd directory on the ATV so they play as full DVD's

My question is how do I get these VOB's to play on my external drive. I cant for some reason figure this out.

I hope this question makes sense to you guys

OK, so is the external drive connected to your network or is it pplugged into the Atv?

Why not create an alias to the "/movies/dvd" folder on the ATV and place that on the external drive. That should allow you to drop DVDs in that directory and the apple TV should see them....as long as it follows the alias. Someone chime in if that doesn't work.
