Voice Brief App Help

Just downloaded the Voice Brief App and was wondering if anyone knows how to make it stop the announcements?

So far, the only way to stop is to hit the setting icon in the top right corner.

I hope there's another way.

Never mind.

Just did a hard reboot and now the remote bar is available to be pulled up from the button of the screen to allow fast forward, rewind, and pause.

For a second there, i thought i was dealing with Hal 9000
