Hi guys,

any Brits got voice control to work?

I'm from London and have a 'Queen's English' accent - can't get voice control to work at all.

Me: "Shuffle iPod"
iPhone: "No music is playing. Would you like to play music now?"
Me: "Yes"
iPhone: "Music shuffled. iPod is now playing."

:D

having an australian accent with a little hint of brit here and there i'm not holding out any hope of it understanding me at all.

Yes, you get the Queen on the 32GB. Not sure about the 16GB though. Prince Charles?

Me: Shuffle iPod
iPhone: Calling Paul.....

OK, so now I'm really paranoid about having a speech impediment

i cant wait for the tube ride on monday morning!

bluetooth headsets were bad as it loked like people were talking to themselves

then came iPod shuffles with shake to shuffle - just looked odd first thing in the morning with all the city traders 'shaking' their iPods

now we'll hear people saying, dial.., shuffle..., etc!

the joys of the 30min tube ride!

Contacts seem to be picked up fine, it's artists and song titles that it struggles with...

But then again, i am from Hereford, so have a farmer twang!

It doesn't actually do song titles, just album, artist or playlist. I found this out after almost phoning dozens of people by accident and then reading the 'How To' section on the Apple site which lists all the voice commands. :)
