Voice control and UK accents

any Brits got voice control to work?

I'm from London and have a 'Queen's English' accent - can't get voice control to work at all.

doesn't work with minor background noise in an office.

I generally find voice control-related stuff doesn't work for me with my Yorkshire accent – I always seem to end up impersonating a Californian. Badly.

i cant wait for the tube ride on monday morning!

bluetooth headsets were bad as it loked like people were talking to themselves

then came iPod shuffles with shake to shuffle - just looked odd first thing in the morning with all the city traders 'shaking' their iPods

now we'll hear people saying, dial.., shuffle..., etc!

the joys of the 30min tube ride!

Contacts seem to be picked up fine, it's artists and song titles that it struggles with...

But then again, i am from Hereford, so have a farmer twang!

I'm relieved it's not just me having these problems!

It doesn't actually do song titles, just album, artist or playlist. I found this out after almost phoning dozens of people by accident and then reading the 'How To' section on the Apple site which lists all the voice commands.
