Is there any worthy apps for adding vocie dialing to the phone. I want to be albe to use my Jawbone 2 earpiece in the car without having to use my phone to make an outgoing call. Voice dialing is one of the most basic functions on cell phones these days yet the iphone doesn't have it, what gives?

well, one thing i can say is the CLoud app is NOT worth spending the time to download. EVen though its free, its still a waste. I downloaded it and it said best if used over 3G or wi-fi.. well, i have a 2G phone, so i figured i would just TRY it on Wi-Fi.

I said a SIMPLE this like HOME and it came up with Alan Zalowa - then i said Matty Branscombe (my husbadn) and it came up with Joe Mangine... NOT EVEN CLOSE!

so i deleted it after a few tries and not ONE thing was right.

The issue is that it tried to take your voice, turn it into text and THEN dial.. instead of like the other phones where you can record your own voice and it matches voice to voice..

so far, nothing like that.

I had exactly the same experience as lindsayanng. After a half dozen wrong contacts and no right ones, I deleted it too.

it really is a shame that not one person has gotten it right. To me, its NESSECARY to have voice dialing. i'm not the best driver, and dialing on a TOUCH screen is really hard when dealing with Connecticut Traffic (it rivals LA and surpasses NY)

I would LOVE to have my phone in the car holder and just tap a button and say "CALL MATTY" and be done..

the other thing i REALLY would have liked to see what voice texting :)
