Very stupid question. I am a new user of the IPhone and I have a voicemail but cant figure out how to check them. I touch the icon in the bottom right corner but nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

Go to the phone app, select the icon farthest to the right. On this screen, press the persons name with the little blue dot next to it and listen to the voicemail. :)

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5A347 Safari/525.20)

You have to set it up first. Dial your cell phone number and it should take you through the setup. This is how it works with AT&T. I hope this helps.

I had the same problem when I first got my 3G iPhone. Once you do this you will be able to press the voicemail icon and have it actually work.
