voice recorder app. help help!

Hi,

I am looking for a basic voice recorder app for my 3Gs. Now I know there are a bunch out there, but i am specifically looking for one, that when when I record a memo, the icon in the home screen has a number indicating how may voice memo's I have. for e.g. i have an app called "to do", i have 3 items and when I am at the home screen, I see the number 3 in the top right (like texts and mails). I like this because, when i look at the home screen, I am constantly reminded to check my "to do" list. With the current voice recorder i have, there is no indication of how many memo's i have recorded to myself. That being, said, if i dont check the app every so often there is a chance I may forget something i need to do. I know you can email on some apps, but that's a pain in the but to manage, b/c once the mail is read, the "new reminder" disappears.... u guys get what I am saying? what's the point of a reminder app, if there is noting to remind you to check what u have to do (unless like the To DO app, where it shows on the home screen, how many outstanding)

Umm, I don't know of any why don't you just use iCal it has all of the reminder stuff that you want also its very organizable not very hard to use and I really don't get why you need a video recorder.... Are you going to turn around your iPhone 3G and record yourself?

The OP never said anything about a video recorder. (S)He wants a voice recording app that badges the icon for however many recordings there are.

now the Q is, is there app out there with such a simple GUI....

While iPhone 3.0's built-in Voice Memos app does not have such badge, I find it capable enough with stylish UI. And if you email the message to your own email account, you will get a playable memo along with the badge on Mail.

Audio Notes Recorder has a badge to indicate how many unplayed recordings you have. Dunno if that's exactly what you're looking for.
