I know this has always been a common complaint, but the amount of times that Dictation tries to insert a comma or period where it shouldn't is making it almost unusable and downright laughable to the point where people literally laugh at the results if I ever fail to proof read before hitting send.

This isn't just a whining and moaning post. I am legit wondering if there's any way to fix this.

Maybe turn off Auto Punctuation under General, Keyboards, then scroll down to Dictation.

I noticed Autocorrect has gotten significantly worse on iOS 18

Thanks, I will try that.

And I agree. Just random stuff like just now. I texted my wife and in a sentence that ended with "a few times", for whatever reason it corrected it to "a few Times".

Man, the keyboard in iOS 18 has almost become unusable too. I’ve always used the swipe feature and I don’t think I have written a message without having to make corrections in quite a while.

Ya dictation has always been trash on iOS for who knows what reason. Try the same on Android and not only is it legit fast (as in what you say appears on screen literally right away with no delay) it also gets what you say 1000% better then Siri
