Voicemail transcription?

anyone get this to work? I haven't received any new voicemails since the update but none of the old ones are transcribed. Does this feature work yet?

I believe only 6s models and above get voicemail transcription.

I'm sorry but that's incorrect! Because I'm using iPhone 6S PLUS!

It doesn't transcribe old messages, only new ones. Call yourself from another phone and try it. If it doesn't work, reset your network settings and try again. That's what I had to do.

That is correct, your device is one of the supported ones as it's part of the 6s line of phones, as I mentioned in my reply (which was to a few other posts with other devices).

Works on iPhone SE too. I had to upgrade carrier settings first.

Also, your carrier must support (and you must have) Visual Voicemail. That said, it took awhile for all eligible users to get it showing up during the betas, too. May just take a bit to do all the transcribing. It will do your old voicemails, too.

Not available in UK on EE currently.....
It took 18 months for them to implement wifi calling so not holding my breath!

Only works in American or Canadian English.

Thats actually not true. I had 10 voicemails in mine and after I upgraded, it took a little while but it transcribed all of mine

I just checked my old messages again and now they are transcribed.
