I am partially-sighted and am unable to read text rendered in grey-on-white or pale-colour-on-white, nowadays considered so. stylish by webpage-designers. However, I am told that there is a feature in OSX that enables one to render such text as spoken content, but am not precisely sure how to achieve that result. I should be most grateful if. some kind person could give me some very, very simple instructions !

Thank you, but I am not having much luck with those. The 1st one, when I launch Safari, find a webpage, and click the shortcut, simply shows the title of the page in very large font, but with not body text. The 2nd and 3rd are again relying on pale-blue-text-on-white, and using expressions that I do not recognise, such as VO-A. I really need simple step-by-step instructions, but realilse that I may be. asking too much !
