So I've heard both ways.

But I need to know....

I have installed 3rd party RAM from crucial in my macbook. And I've been having problems....if I send my computer in to apple.... (I have Applecare) will it void my applecare? Or will they not fix my computer?

Much appreciated!

Memory is a user upgradable part, so you can send it in with it and it will not void any warranty. In fact they will most likely want you to send it in with the extra memory so they can duplicate the problem.

Changing the RAM will not void your warranty.

Out of curiosity, what problems have you been having?
