So I use about 60 minutes of voice per month, about 1500-3000 in text, and about 1.7 to 2gb of data, and tmobile is offering the following:

for $30 you get
100 minutes of voice, unlimited text and web.

Anyone try using voip on android? Any tmobile users on here care to comment? I was on tmobile 2 yrs ago and went to At&t.

It works great. Lots of people actually do this. Personally though, I prefer to go the StraightTalk route for 41.5 bucks a month if you pay the whole year in advance, which I'm doing at the end of this month.

I use grooveip app on my android tablet. Combined with google for a free phone number. It works well, should be good enough for what you are looking for.
