Is there anyone else with this problem? every time i try to access the camera on the lock screen via double-clicking the home button then pressing on the camera icon, it brings up the camera but when i go to take a photo by pressing the + button on the volume controls. it doesn't work! is there a fix for this? btw my iPhone is jailbroken on 5.0.1 via redsn0w 0.9.10b3.

Did a lot of research myself and found it's caused by activator. You can either downgrade back down to 1.5.7, just search for the deb through google.
Or your other option is adding Ryan Petrich's repo: http://rpetri.ch/repo and upgrade to 1.5.9 beta 2.
