Its just bochs with a gui wrapper.
Bochs is...

ssssssssss......

llllllllllllllll............

oooooooooooooo........

wwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

Wintel has been in "production" quite a long time now... so long, I forgot it still was alive!
Looking at the screenshots, it is clear that they are old: Notice the QuickTime 5 icon in the dock >>> It is OS X 10.1
The new screenshots imply Jagwire, and they state it is 10.2 compatible.
Is it just another version of MacBochs ???

Anybody tried it?

25 minutes ago I just got me the IMO best alternative to VPC, on eBay:
- a nice and small IBM Thinkpad 240x (PIII 500Mhz) that I will use for all the stuff I used VPC6 on my tiBook for.

for the same money of VPC6 plus a windows license I now have one of the smallest usable computers avalible (hehe, for those who are interested in vintage powerbooks, the 240 series actually is more or less the same computer as the Powerbook 2400c which also was designed by IBM...)
it does not matter that the machine lacks an internal CD-rom since I will use it in an network environment anyways...

and maybe it will get a PB 2400c as a companion someday...

my first PeeCee...

That does look pretty sweet - and since it's only $25 for the download of the emulator, I think I might get it.
bochs is freeware. you can download it from http://bochs.sourceforge.net/ as either an x11 application or a carbon app. i'm not quite sure how openosx stays in business selling freeware, but they're still around.

Made me do a double take too

I was surfing the web a couple days ago, and ran into the same thing. Started looking around and spotted that it was just bochs. I tried bochs with the default disc with linux on it. it took forever booting. then the command line was even slow. windows would break it for sure. Hopefully these guys http://www.lismoresoft.com/ publish a OSX compatible version of there emulator. Time will tell:
