VPC performance on new PB's with 512k of cache

Does anyone have performance info with VPC 6 running on one of the new 1ghz PB's with 512k of L2 cache? W2k would be the preferred o/s to run in a virtual machine if possible. I have read other posts that were saying L3 cache made the biggest difference, but they pulled that from the PB's. I needed something portable, and the new 12" pb's seem to fit the bill perfectly and should be shipping next month.
