I'm using VPC running Windows 98... I want to upgrade to XP. Do I have to buy the connectix version of XP or can I just purchase XP Home from the local store and do a full install over 98?

thanks.

Do you have to install XP? It's a hog on VPC. But, you don't have to buy xp fron connectix and I think you will have to install on a seperate (partition) so you will have both os's.

VPC runs a lot smoother under win 2000. Just a recommendation though.
I second that emotion.

Also, using a fixed-size disk seems to make a huge difference in speed.
