VPC6 Installation

I have VPC6 XP Pro for my dual 1.42. I installed the program but when I try to create PC I get a message that says 'An unexpected error occured creating the PC.

ABORT

I've tried numerous times and Connectix is non-responsive. Any help would be appreciated.
