Hi,

I'm using my iPad to connect to a VPN server through PPTP.

The problem is that it is unable to establish a connection on my home network but the iPad works at a different location through a different router. If I try to connect from my Windows desktop at home it works without a problem, through WiFI and Ethernet.

When I try to connect with my iPad from it hangs on "Starting ..." before display an error dialog after around 10 seconds: "You were disconnected by the communication device."

Any pointers?

Having the same problem. I am able to connect to VPN via 3G and some wireless networks. But, not able to connect from home network and some other wireless networks...

I'm wondering if the iPad needs to some extra forwarding on specific routers for VPN to work?
