VPN server in sleep mode

Is it possible to have the server running (possibly VPN, or web server) even if the MacBook Pro is in sleep mode?

No. The Macbook Pro will not be able to detect an incoming connection. You could possibly do this by using a Wake On LAN setup though.

I don't think so. A WOL request is quite different from VPN traffic.
