In English VPN could mean two different encryption and connection schemes, think connecting to your own remote VPN server! So severs could run a VPN server and they still do it today!

So you are in a India so by the way you spoke you want to know India VPN services! i Sorry but I don’t know India VPN Services that much!

If you connect to an indian vpn server in India, the IP you use will be the one of the server. Your personal IP will remain hidden just the same as if you connect to a different country. Only the VPN service will have your original IP adress and if it's a good service they won't save it. I use a VPN at home most of the time myself and I usally connect to a server in my own country, because it's usually the fastest and it still keeps me "safe".

Your original IP address will remain hidden, VPN service providers use their own IP pool to asign you an address. But be sure to double check for ip leaks on pages like www.whatismyipaddress.com or ipleak.net. But TBH I don't use web pages to check IP address, some of them gather this info and stick a tracker to follow you online, here's a guide on how to check your IP address without visiting the web. If you don't see any leaks then ur good to go and encryption will ensure your traffic remains hidden.
