I'm having massive problems with VyprVPN. VyprVPN always crashes on startup. I am using the version 4.1.0.8945. Currently I can't use VyprVPN in Big Sur. Are there other users who use VyprVPN and have the same problems? Or maybe users have solutions? I'm very pissed, because VyprVPN does not answer or you hear nothing from VyprVPN.

According to the Little Snitch Dev, Big Sur has a serious bug regarding Cisco IPSec VPNs and DNS tunneling, that may be your problem. I use AirVPN, and if I use their client along with Little Snitch, it kernel panics Big Sur. Little Snitch on its own works great, the AirVPN client on its own sort of works, but together the two are a rebooting kernel panic good time. I had to buy Viscosity in the meantime because Air claims 'We dont understand, we tested Big Sur and it has no problems', yet every actual Mac user on their forums is crashing left and right.

Thank you. I installed Version 4.1.1.9013 but nothing changed. Crashed every time I started VyprVPN.
BUT:
I registered me for the MacOS Big Sur Public Beta Programm and installed MacOS 11.1 beta. Now all is running fine. VyprVPN is running with Little Snitch v5.0.3 and Bitdefender AntiVirus v8.2.2.9.

Hello, Same here: VyprVPN alone = OK, Little Snitch Alone = OK, both = Kernel Panic when I launch VyprVPN. All on MacOS 11.01. Happy to read that 11.1 may fix the problem. I had to rollback and now I perform my tests on a Parallels image (easier to delete if something goes wrong).

Just tried MacOS 11.1, I still get a crash each time I launch VyprVPN. Do you see the same behaviour ?

Just tried with 11.2 and .... Yessssss ! It works now. VyprVPN + LittleSnitch won't crash anymore.

Edit: .....nope. It worked twice and then it stopped working. No more Kernel Panics but no more internet even with Kill Switch disabled and even after closing VyprVPN. Then the whole system starts freezing and the only way to stop it is to keep the power button pressed for few seconds. I'm rolling back to Catalina again.

This issue was fixed in 4.2.1 version of VyprVPN app. It is a bug in macOS big Sur. If Little Snitch or CrowdStrike Falcon or potentially any other 3d party software that adds content filter configuration installed and an any app makes more than a few pings simultaneously then the system process /usr/libexec/remoted hangs and the internet connection disappears. After 2-3 minutes the system watchdog triggers a kernel panic
