So I'm all prepped, and ready for the arrival of my Verizon iPhone, and settled in watching the Super Bowl when I start to think about my phone Contacts and how I'm going to move them from my Blackberry Curve. Gone are the days when I would do this by hand (cropping out numbers I don't really need along the way).
Then I remembered that the Verizon website had, since before pre-orders, showed a getting started link for the iPhone. Which led me to Verizon's Backup Assistant. (Turns out Backup Assistant was installed on my BB the entire time, I had just hidden it and never used it.)
Finally, I read the guide on How to Transfer Backup Assistant Contacts to iPhone 4.
I have to respect Verizon for it's decision to make it's own App. That you can find "VZ Transfer" and download directly through the iOs AppStore. I went and looked at it on my old first gen iPod Touch, the review board is a little funny. But at least one person reviewed saying they had successfully transferred their contacts using it.
Relief, I know the last thing I needed, and I just wanted to make sure everyone else eagerly awaiting their Monday delivery of the Verizon iPhone knew as well.
