I'll buy that rumor...probably would be a limited time offer once they get their lineup of phones, but I can guarantee you that major gouging is going to take place once 4G is well established.People are already conditioned to pay $30 for 3G which is frankly robbery compared to what most of the rest of the world charges. They already charge 20 bucks for unlimited texts, and $0.20 EACH outgoing AND incoming outside of a plan, when it is a well known fact that it costs virtually nothing...fractions of a single cent for the carrier for each one. AT&T already has plans to tier 4G data with usage caps and speed caps. Verizon will eventually follow...hell even their 3G unlimited plan will be short lived.

The consumer is going to get hosed even more in the future in this country.
